This year for the first time in 19 years both holidays land on the same day. The media is coining the phrase Chrismukkah. Yup! That’s this years name for the season.
I was going to use that for a heading, but decided not to. I feel both Hollidays and their respectful Religious Implications deserve their individual status and names. Not to get all religious on you but Christ engaged in the celebration of Hanukkah according to the book of John 10:22.
Yet, oh well? Who am I? Nobody really cares about my opinion, over the media. Simply another instance where I shall remain different… Does anyone know what date Yoda was born? ^_^
The King Tide PhotoSafari
Many of you wanted to know more on this so I typed something up. I have personally never been able to Photograph a King tide, so I’m excited about this one as well. With a king tide also comes the lowest low tides. So think big waves, and awesome shots in tidal pools that are not usually available as well. I’m also looking for some cool sunset images!

B&C Classes
I heard from many of you looking forward to my free classes at B&C Camera. They are currently posted on B&C’s website. Thursday, January 16th from 5pm to 7pm, will be a class on “Locations to Shoot” in and around Las Vegas.
As a resident of Las Vegas for over five decades I’m pretty well known for my location data base. Yes, over the years I have shot in most all of them. You’ll want to attend this class simply because this time I will reveal some of my secret locations!
My location list numbers over 100 I think. I am still typing it up. If you attend you just might wind up with a map as well. I will also be giving you camera settings and best times to shoot, so this little gig will be full of information. Did I mention for FREE? Yes, from beginner to advanced all are welcome!

The next class is scheduled for Saturday, January 18th from 1pm to 3pm. This class will be “How To Light Anything”, From Landscapes, to People, to where there is no light such as in Night Skies. I will even teach you how to light images pixel by pixel!
This is the first time in history I think that I have offered a class on Saturday! Once again did I mention it’s FREE? Yes, suitable for anyone from beginner to advanced.

This is a totally cool thing! My Campfire Group is absolutely where ya wanna be! This group is the camera club ya always wanted! No Politics, No Clicks, and a supportive group of fellow Photographers complete with Instructional videos of tips and techniques every two weeks! Yes, even instruction on LightRoom and PhotoShop!
We also cover the topic of computer operations, and storage solutions. Membership to this group re-opens in late January.
