The Very Best Time To Photograph Las Vegas
It's finally here folks! Fall is arriving in Las Vegas! Oh I know the Fall Equinox officially occurred way back on September 22 at 11:50pm... however those of us that have lived in Vegas for years know that temperatures don't actually start falling back until mid-October.
The temps will really start to fall back once we set clocks back on November 5, 2023. Personally I wish we would totally put a stop to Daylight Savings Time, but that's a whole 'nuther topic...
The Haze In Our Skies Really Starts to Clear Out Once The Temperatures Cool Down
This is a plain old fact of science... in cooler weather the amount of moisture that the air can hold decreases. Less moisture means fewer clouds and haze... with little to no clouds and haze to veil the sky, its blue hue appears purer, and the sky itself, more vast and open.
Couple that with "clearer light" coming through the atmosphere? And we obtain even better color saturation in the Desert Southwest. The Image below is from a little known spot in Valley Of Fire captured in November.

So Now Is The Best Time To Be Out With Your Camera!
In celebration of that I'll be doing more PhotoSafaris in November, December, January, and February. Then? Milky Way Season starts up again! I'll be doing Milky Way PhotoSafaris closer to Las Vegas next year.
So now you know...the weather controls 90% of my Photography. Back in the day when I was in the studio not so much... But times have changed, and less people want studio shots any more, so I changed with the paradigm. The Image below was also captured in the fall.

Going Out With Me On PhotoSafaris Will Improve Your Photography Exponentially!
I have drawer fulls of testimonials on this! You could take years of classes online or with me at B&C Camera, and still not learn as much as you would in one PhotoSafari. Photography takes practice. It's a journey. And being on that journey with other like minded Photographers absolutely enhances that journey!
Editing sessions on those PhotoSafaris enhances the experience even more. So stay tuned to this newsletter for the most up to date information. Speaking of this... as you know I've tried to centralize my communications.
In this day and age I was spending inordinate amounts of time trying to keep up with where to post everything, and still people missed out. Well now? In order to keep everyone up to date, if I do a function, paid or for free, you MUST RSVP on my sign up form. The form will also close twenty four hours before the event.
Why am I doing this? Simple logistics... if I'm doing a free event and nobody signs up? No Problem... I'll cancel that and do something else I might wish to do with my time. If I cancel it and you're standing somewhere waiting on me wondering what happened? It's because you did not follow through, not myself. I try and keep everyone happy, and the best way to do this is a central notification center where I can email or text any one that needs notification. I hope you can understand this necessity.

Now For Some Really Great News!
I've told you I do not like getting newsletters that always try and sell me something. So I do not wish to do that myself. I'm trying to give out good current information, and also let you know about things I might be doing incase you'd like to join. And yes, many times that can be free!
So recently I've added my free downloads section, and placed my first file there. "How To Set Up Your LightRoom Catalog"... this is a free download! Yes you can share it with someone else that might need the information! All I ask is for them to sign up for my newsletter as well, so I can give them more great information that I'll be adding to that section. I do not think that is much to ask for, how about you? Naturally this is copy written information so downloading the file and sending it about, is a no, no. Click the link below for free downloads...
