April 17th to April 21st, 2023
Details: Limited to 8 attendees
This will be a four night and three day PhotoSafari for the first Full Arch Milky Way of the 2023 season! Please understand, the Milky Way is present year round, but the Core of the Milky Way starts showing it’s presence in the spring.
Our goal with this PhotoSafari will be to capture the full arc of the Milky Way over several possible areas, based upon weather and cloud cover. Our itinerary will be flexible in order to accomplish this goal.
The PhotoSafari will occur, no matter the weather conditions. Even if we are clouded out, (which would be rare at this time of year) there are still several locations that afford awesome opportunities to practice other night Photography opportunities, such as Star Trails, or Light Painting. These techniques will assist you with all of your night Photography adventures.
Also included with this PhotoSafari will be at least two, possibly three, three hour editing seminars to show you the very important techniques required to edit night sky imagery, for both LightRoom and PhotoShop.
A big plus for this PhotoSafari has been the spring rain we’ve been receiving. We just might obtain a “super wild-flower bloom in Death Valley.” If so? We will definitely take advantage of Photographing that as well!
PhotoSafari Fees: 295.00/per person
Your fees include all instruction in order to obtain the best images possible AND LightRoom/PhotoShop lessons!
Not included: Your Transportation, Meals, and Lodging. I have a block of rooms reserved for this PhotoSafari at Death Valley Inn located in Beatty Nevada. This will be our base location for the entire PhotoSafari. Bring your laptop! Editing Instructions will be accomplished in the Death Valley Inn Board Room.
Our Special Nightly Room Rate is 85.00 plus tax. YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR YOUR STAY! I’ve already done that. You will check in individually upon arrival.
Each Hotel Room includes a small refrigerator and a microwave for your convince.
We will all meet at 5:00pm, Monday April 17th, at the Death Valley Inn, in Beatty Nevada. We will checkin at that time, have a short introduction meeting, and discus our itinerary.
